The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions on the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed about the significant range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to here access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The company position designed for intervention encounters a high influx of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more resources to enable the servicing of all shoppers and boost usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
